FloodGuard limits the amount of water spillage from a leak inside the POU Cooler to the small amount of water in the tank of the Cooler. The way it works is that the water inlet to the POU Cooler consist of a Solenoid Inlet Valve. The Inlet Valve is closed in its natural state and only opens when water is dispensed from the tap. After re filling the tank, the FloodGuard Solenoid Valve closes again.
